I was attending a function in shah alam earlier and decided to drop by at the park that everyone was raving about and i arrived pretty late at about 1230, my colleague i might be too late but since it would be "almost never" i will come to shah alam again, i decided to find this place and LO AND BEHOLD! what a beautiful sight! although half of the park was close, the remaining lights are still on... beautiful! xmas all year round, so many people around taking photos or just hanging out... but what a pity, with such hapening place, no shops opens :( with such crowd... there should at least some happenings la here... boleh orang orang lepak lepak makan makan , rather then merempits... i think i will make another trip here soon... perhaps earlier , to check what else i didnt get to see as i saw a lot more but no lights :)

i didn't have enough time juggling with the work that i didn't have enough time to take photos like this but when i do managed to 'curi' some time i will take and enjoy that moment makin the cast and ensemble posing for my camera.

an interesting story about these shots in the Kemahsyuran Majapahit and the Melaka Terbilang photos series is that all the photo were shot in between their scenes! like the one of Tiara Jacquelina, she just came out from her scene (dream sequence) and i happened to be at her exit place, she got down from her stupa in sad mood after tuah just left her, i show her the photos that i took earlier and she said, "i want i want" cheerfully and we both ran to the spot where i took all these photos to take her photo and she ran back into her next scene with her same earlier emotion without missing a beat. such professional actor she is, mood and feel on and off in split second! tabik tuan puteri!

15GB on P Ramlee The Musical!

I MUST admit... I am crazy about photography... This season of P Ramlee The Musical has to be an event of which i took the most photos! from from Auditions to Rehearsals to Tech Runs to Performances... a check on my hard drive revealed that i have close to 15GB of photos taken and only 3% of it were my own photos! the rest are all about my fellow casts and ensemble!

here are some of the ones i like most. they might not be the best in my collection but i like these photos for a simple fact that they have stories in each and every photos. some are dramatic, some colorful and of course some are plain cantik.

loving the fact that i am getting comfortable with low lighting and no flash photography. but what was clear is that most of my photos are in portrait modes... hmmm dunno why though... enjoy and do comment! as usual all photos are clickable :)

i took a lot of photos this time and as usual all my photos are in manual modes using my 70-300mm nikkor lense (with exceptions on some photos ) so that's why lah some nampak blurry a bit. i love taking potraits so that's why i put some of the guests photos here as well. other than the lovely pengantin baru, other photos includes those who sang, friends and bloggers who were there as Ning and Omar's guest. seronok tadi dapat tengok malam kemuncak Anugerah Juara Lagu. lagi seronok sebab dapat ambil banyak gambar. hampir 80% kapasiti 2Gb SD card saya penuh dengan gambar gambar malam tadi dan yang diatas adalah antara yang saya suka. all photos taken with my Nikkor 70-300 mm lens . was seated 4th row stage center. as usual all photos are clickable.

happy birthday Siti

These photos was taken last night at Dato Datin Seri Hajjah Siti Nurhaliza's Birthday that was held at La Meredien KL Sentral. the party kicks off at 8.00 pm through 12 midnight as Siti blew her birthday cake' candles at 11pm, on the 10th of January 2008 (her birthday is on 11th January 1979).

As some of you might already notice it here that i like to take photos without flash using auto mode and sometimes apature priority mode which is hard to handle as you really need a strong hand to hold the camera. as to why those were my preferred methods in taken photos is because i really dislike the built-in flash in any cameras because to me the flash kills the real mood. so whenever i take any photo, i love to snap as many as possible so in those photos that i snapped without flash would have some good ones.

There's 2 photos i like most that i snapped during this occassion, first is that photo of Adik Ju (Siti's assistant) smiling (on row three far left ). Why? because her smile is totally sincere and secondly, i love the picture of Atilia and hubby Ariff unaware of me snapping their photo. (same row far right). that photo macam gambar wedding pulak hahaha.

For these 2 photos, i used my Zoom Nikkor 70~300mm lens which has always been my preferred lens with most photos taken far away from my subject without them noticing it. why i like it that way? it is the natural behavior from the person I'm shooting that i love to snaps. they normally looks their best at ease.

Well, some of you might ask, "hey chedd isn't this the National Hip Hop Challenge 2007? why there's more kids than adult?" I'll say , " the kids are surprisingly good , well organized and talented.! wish you were there to witness it!" And I was telling Pat Ibrahim and Nadia, i don't remember ever during our school days the kids were dancing/moving like this! let me tell you these kids are talented and you can see a lot of potential in them. and i wonder when did they ever find the time to practice the routines... hmmm ni mesti selalu ponteng kelas nih! huhuhu.

Today's final competition was divided into 4 categories namely under 12, under 18, solos and open crew. in open crew category our girls group (Nita and Diha) the Floor Fever got 1st runner-up placing. congratulation guys!

A spin-off site of cheddyusoff.com went online today at CHEDDgraphy.blogspot.com today.

Nanti akan ada cross-blog/posting between cheddyusoff.com and CHEDDgraphy from time to time but it is still good to visit both side as the posting will be different. Tak faham? katakan ada function atau event yang si Chedd ni pergi menyibok dan ada gambar yang dia ambik, kalau cukup buat koleksi, dia akan post di CHEDDgraphy macam album dan kalau perlu, gambar paling dia suka akan appear di cheddyusoff.com. tetapi main post masih cheddyusoff.com . di CHEDDgraphy lebih bertumpu pada gambar gambar sahaja. kalau ada cross-posting, akan diletakkan kedua-dua link di akhir posting tersebut. CHEDDgraphy was chosen because he couldn't think of any other names ...
